Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ratio Ready (ratioready.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of Ratio Ready after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

Ratio Ready is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides image processing tools for print-on-demand sellers. The service includes:

  • Image resizing, cropping, and DPI adjustment for print-ready output
  • Listing mockup generation via PSD smart object replacement
  • Batch processing with ZIP download for multiple images
  • AI-powered image upscaling
  • A REST API for programmatic access and automation

All processing is credit-based. You purchase credits and spend them on individual operations. Credit costs per operation are listed on our Pricing page.

3. Account Registration

To use Ratio Ready, you must create an account using a valid email address. Account authentication is managed through our authentication provider (Neon Auth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use Ratio Ready. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Credits & Payments

4.1 Purchasing Credits

Credits are purchased through our payment partner, Fungies.io. All prices are displayed in USD. Payment processing, billing, and receipts are handled by Fungies.io, and their terms apply to all payment transactions.

4.2 Credit Usage

Each processing operation consumes a specific number of credits as indicated on the Pricing page. Credits are deducted at the time a job begins processing. If a processing job fails due to a system error, credits are automatically refunded to your account.

4.3 Credit Expiration

Credits are valid for 180 days from purchase. Once purchased, credits remain in your account for six months. Unused credits expire after the 180-day validity period.

4.4 Refunds

Credits that have already been used for successful processing are non-refundable. For unused credits, please refer to our Refund & Credit Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Ratio Ready to:

  • Upload, process, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Upload content that you do not own or do not have the right to process and distribute
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the service without a valid API key and in compliance with our API usage terms
  • Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Resell or redistribute access to Ratio Ready without our written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all images you upload to Ratio Ready. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. By uploading images, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process, transform, and store your images solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6.2 Temporary Storage

Uploaded and processed images are stored temporarily on our servers (typically 30 minutes) to allow you to download results. Batch ZIP files are stored for up to 24 hours. After these periods, files are automatically and permanently deleted. We do not use your images for training, marketing, or any purpose other than delivering the service.

6.3 Our Content

The Ratio Ready name, logo, website design, and all associated trademarks, software, and documentation are the property of Ratio Ready. You may not use our branding without written permission.

7. API Usage

Ratio Ready provides a REST API for programmatic access. API usage is subject to the following conditions:

  • Authentication: All API requests must include a valid API key or JWT token in the Authorization header.
  • Rate Limits: API requests are subject to fair-use rate limits. Excessive requests may be throttled or temporarily blocked.
  • Fair Use: The API is intended for legitimate automation workflows (e.g., Make.com, n8n, custom integrations). Abusive usage patterns, including high-frequency polling or deliberate overloading, may result in account suspension.
  • API Key Security: You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Do not share your key publicly or embed it in client-side code. Notify us immediately if you believe your key has been compromised.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Ratio Ready available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ratio Ready and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Ratio Ready shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@ratioready.com. Upon closure, your account data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in activity that is harmful to the service or other users. In cases of termination for cause, unused credits are non-refundable.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time by posting an updated version on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last modified. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of Ratio Ready after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
