Key Features

Batch processing for 1-50 images

Process your entire clipart collection in one go. Upload up to 50 images per batch with shared settings applied to all files.

Dual output: print file + listing preview

Each image produces a high-res print file (2048 or 4096px at 300 DPI) and a 72 DPI JPEG listing preview optimized for Etsy and other marketplaces.

Optional watermark on previews

Add a custom text watermark to your listing previews to protect your designs. Choose from six positions including tiled, with adjustable opacity.

Auto AI upscale for small images

Images smaller than your target print size are automatically upscaled using AI. The right scale factor (2x or 4x) is detected per image.

Custom naming with SKU and collection

Set a SKU prefix and collection name for organized file naming. Your ZIP files and individual files follow a consistent naming convention for easy inventory management.

ZIP download with organized folders

Completed batches are packaged into a ZIP with separate print/ and preview/ folders. Download the ZIP or access individual files via the API.

How it works

1

Upload clipart (1-50 images)

Drag and drop your square clipart images (PNG, JPG, or WebP), each at least 1024x1024 pixels.

2

Configure your settings

Choose print size, enable listing previews, set watermark text, and add a collection name or SKU prefix.

3

Get print files + previews as ZIP

Download your organized ZIP containing print-ready files and marketplace-optimized listing previews.

When you’d use this tool

Four scenarios where this tool saves the most time:

  1. Bundling a 30-piece clipart pack for an Etsy digital download. Drop 30 transparent PNGs into the processor with target size 4096px and watermark on previews. Get back a ZIP with print/ folder (clean PNGs, 300 DPI) and preview/ folder (watermarked JPGs for the listing gallery). Replaces an evening of one-at-a-time export.
  2. Processing AI-generated clipart at native 1024px. Midjourney and DALL·E typically output at 1024×1024. That's too small for high-resolution clipart sales. Auto AI upscale brings the source to 4096px before resize, so your output is print-ready commercial quality, not a soft starter resolution.
  3. Refreshing an old clipart set for higher-tier pricing. You have a 2000px clipart set you want to relist at 4096px premium pricing. Drop the source PNGs into the processor with target 4096 — alpha-aware AI upscaling preserves transparency through the upscale, no halo or fringe artifacts on the edges of detailed art.
  4. Generating a listing PDF + watermarked previews + print files in one upload. Toggle the listing PDF option when processing — it's bundled into the clipart price at no extra credit cost. The ZIP comes back with print files, watermarked previews, and a styled 2-page Etsy listing PDF describing what's in the pack. Buyers love the polished delivery; you saved 30 minutes of layout work.

Common mistakes

Things to watch for, in approximate order of how often I see them:

1. Using JPG for clipart with transparent backgrounds

JPG cannot store transparency. A clipart PNG saved as JPG fills with white — making the design unusable as a layered element. Always start with PNG and stay PNG through the pipeline. The processor preserves alpha channel from input to output.

2. Skipping the square crop check

Clipart needs to be square (1:1) for consistent sticker, mug, and tote bag printing. The processor rejects non-square inputs to prevent inconsistent output across products. Crop or pad in your design tool before uploading.

3. Watermarking the print file by accident

The processor's watermark setting only applies to listing previews. If you watermark in your design tool before uploading, the print file ships watermarked too — and the buyer demands a refund. Trust the split: design clean, let Ratio Ready watermark only the preview path.

4. Ignoring the file-size impact of detailed PNGs at 4096

A 4096×4096 transparent PNG of detailed art can run 8-15 MB. A 30-piece bundle as ZIP can hit Etsy's 20 MB digital download limit. Either reduce target size to 2048-3000px (still print-quality for typical clipart use) or split the bundle across multiple ZIPs.

5. Forgetting to set a SKU prefix or collection name

Without a SKU prefix, output files are named generically (clipart-1.png, clipart-2.png). Buyers can't tell which file is which design when they unzip. Set a collection name and SKU prefix once — every batch from then on uses descriptive filenames automatically.
